The singing bowl

Truth be told, I’ve never been able to successfully get a singing bowl to sing. Perhaps because I’ve never truly slowed down enough to make the true connection... Today however, I was over at Natures Spirit in Milton picking up some things for KVM and I saw this bowl. It was amongst all the others but it stood out to me. Yes it’s a Tibetan antique and it’s beautiful but that’s not why.  It has this little crack and dent on the rim which called to me for some reason.
Suzanne told me that it had been sitting there because people had seen it’s imperfection, disregarded it or put it back. They never took the time to connect with it.
So I picked it up and gave it a whirl. Not only did it sing, but it sang like the most beautiful high vibrational bird in the sky. My entire body resonated with the most loving frequency I’ve ever felt.
So it all comes down to this. Do not judge too quickly. If possible, do not judge at all. We are all flawed, we have imperfections and faults. These are what make us who we are. If we accept, look past and embrace these things, we open ourselves up to new and wonderful experiences. And who knows, maybe the thing you see as your biggest fault could turn out to be your greatest quality.  After all, we are all beautiful.
*Special thanks to Suzanne at Natures Spirit  for always taking time out of your day to assist me and speak with me one-on-one so I’m able to get exactly what I need both for myself and for Kind Vibe Mala. You are a truly amazing individual w a kind and knowledgeable heart. Not to mention one awesome store! Thank you.*
